Strüby Holzbau AG​

400 employees, 10 locations in Switzerland, 2 in Germany, and a strong complete portfolio around timber construction: this is what the Strüby companies in Seewen,


Schwyz stand for. Founded in 1949, the company regularly invests in state-of-the-art technology – and places great importance on sustainability. That is why Strüby relies on the services and

performance of TBS Swiss – for example, when old machines need to be replaced with new ones.

A current example of this is the replacement of the board stacking system at the production site in Root LU.

W. Rüegg AG

The W. Rüegg AG in Kaltbrunn has stood for high-quality timber construction and carpentry work for 120 years. The traditional family business covers the complete range of services with around 70 employees: from individual kitchen cabinets to turnkey wooden houses. Essential for this is the in-house element production.

This has been fundamentally renewed by the company in collaboration with TBS Swiss.

SWISS KRONO AG

SWISS KRONO AG employs around 410 people at its production site in Menznau LU and is represented in over 90 countries. SWISS KRONO AG is one of the leading manufacturers of wood-based materials in Europe. As part of a strategic adjustment of the product portfolio, a Bürkle coating line approximately 130 meters long was taken out of operation.
To continue using the large facility economically, SWISS KRONO sought support from TBS Swiss.

Together, they succeeded in finding a suitable buyer: the Turkish door and panel manufacturer Teverpan.
